Whether multi-denominational or reflecting a specific tradition, chapels and sanctuaries represent a distinct set of design considerations. Not only must architecture, furnishings, acoustics, lighting and sightlines bring a sense of intimacy to the space, they must also create an environment flexible enough to accommodate celebrations, services and contemplation.
