Eagles Trace

Two significant features of a relatively bleak site in Texas lent inspiration to the master plan for this retirement community: an extremely flat site on which standing water was a major concern and several substantial Live Oak trees in an otherwise scruffy landscape. The plan refocused the site and storm water issues into a manmade lake that became the central feature of the plan and created valuable “waterfront” real estate. Prominent Live Oaks were preserved and gave instant character and an established feel to the development. Principals of KGRW were responsible for master planning, programming, design team formation, design management and construction oversight.
