Taylorsville Master Plan

The Salt Lake City regional economy is a rapidly growing area for development in the United States. Taylorsville located centrally in the valley, has the opportunity to capture a greater share of the growth and development within the region.  The revitalization of the commercial center and key sites that correspond with future transit corridors is essential to attracting this new real estate development and to creating a more thriving community.   KGRW was hired to lead a multidisciplinary group to evaluate existing site and economic constraints and develop a framework of public and private collaboration/partnership for maximizing the opportunity for revitalization, both in the short and long term.  The selected sites feature opportunity for mixed use that foster a sense of community and place; emphasis between office, retail, and residential varied depending on the context and opportunity for each site
