Kevin Glover is a founding partner of KGRW & Associates. The firm draws on his wide-ranging experience built over a career spent assembling and managing effective operations and design teams to create lively, financially successful and socially responsible projects.

A Cornell University graduate and architect for more than 40 years, Mr. Glover began his career working with Baltimore architect Peter Christie before joining the firm of Cochran, Stephenson & Donkervoet. He joined Erickson Retirement Communities in 1984, where he became Senior Vice President, Development Services. There, he was responsible for directing in-house and consulting teams of architects, planners, engineers, interior designers and facility management specialists. He co-founded KGRW & Associates in 2009.

During his years with Erickson, Mr. Glover was responsible for design of 22 branded communities in nine states across the United States, for a total of 22,000 residential units, 60 community centers and 22 healthcare facilities. His work with Erickson exceeded 30 million square feet and $2 billion in development. These projects received national recognition through numerous awards, including the prestigious Icons of the Industry award from the National Association of Home Builders.

Having grown Erickson from a single senior living community to a thriving network of branded communities across the nation, Mr. Glover brings unique insight and experience to his work in this specialized field.

Mr. Glover also managed development, design and construction for the Erickson Foundation, creating the AIA award-winning North Bay Environmental Education Camp for children in North East, Maryland; the headquarters building for Retirement Living Television in Catonsville, Maryland; and 1,500 student residential units, apartments and living learning rooms at the University of Maryland Baltimore Campus (UMBC).

In 2008, Mr. Glover traveled to China with a delegation of business associates invited to help in-country developers explore that nation’s growing need for retirement housing. KGRW & Associates has since provided consultation, planning and design services for additional projects in Shanghai, Dalian and Beijing.

Mr. Glover has lectured on architectural design and senior living communities at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cornell University, Georgia Institute of Technology and University of Maryland Baltimore Campus (UMBC). His articles on retirement community development and design have appeared in national trade publications.

A registered architect and member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Mr. Glover is also a charter member and past president of the Ellicott City Sunrise Rotary Club in Maryland. He worked with the SEED School in Washington, D.C., and The Sisters Academy in Baltimore, Maryland, helping improve educational prospects for children in need. He now serves on the board of the UMBC Research Park Corporation in Catonsville, Maryland.
